Kelly Gillard

Kelly started with us as a dental nurse, before leaving to study Dental Hygiene & Therapy at the Peninsula Dental School.  After completing her degree, she has come full circle and returned to us part-time- providing both hygiene treatments and therapy treatments. Kelly’s main goal is to help patients improve and maintain good oral health care at home, so they can keep their teeth for longer.

Kelly has also assisted with our facial aesthetic side of the practice since it began and having an increased interest in skincare since her degree, she has been further developing her skill set. Kelly undertook training and certification for medical microdermabrasion facials with Eden Aesthetics as well as offering anti-wrinkle treatments. She has taken on further aesthetics courses to enable her to provide; skin peels.

Kelly also has completed her Wow Facial training. Enabling her to provide this 6 stage facial here at Larkham House.

Kelly has a gentle and calming manner and enjoys working with nervous patients, putting them at ease during their treatment. In addition to working as a hygiene therapist, Kelly also supervises first year students at Peninsula dental school- using her first-hand experience to guide them through.

Outside of dentistry, Kelly enjoys walking her dog, cycling and paddle boarding.
