We are delighted to announce that Larkham House Dental Practice has been named a finalist in six categories at the Private Dentistry Awards 2026.
The awards recognise excellence across UK private dentistry. This year, more than 1,000 entries were submitted. The 2026 shortlist celebrates practices and dental professionals across the country.
Being recognised across six categories is a fantastic achievement for our whole team.
Dr Vivek Giddani has been named a finalist for Practice Principal of the Year – South West & Wales.
His clinical interests include dental implants, periodontics, bone and sinus augmentation and complex tooth extractions. He has also completed additional postgraduate training in dental implants, CBCT interpretation, sinus lift and bone grafting.
Larkham House has also been shortlisted for Practice of the Year – South West & Wales.
This category recognises the practice as a whole. It reflects the work that takes place across our clinical, nursing, reception and management teams.
We are proud of the environment we have created at Larkham House. The focus remains on providing high standards of dentistry while making every patient feel welcome and supported.
Our team is at the heart of Larkham House.
We have been named a finalist for Team of the Year – South West & Wales. This recognition is particularly meaningful because great patient care depends on everyone working together.
From our dentists and dental nurses to our reception and support teams, every member plays an important role.
We have also also been shortlisted for Referral Practice of the Year – South West & Wales.
Larkham House provides advanced dental treatments for patients referred by other dental professionals. Our referral services include dental implants, oral surgery, periodontics, complex extractions, bone and sinus augmentation, endodontics and OPG and CBCT imaging.
We work closely with referring dentists throughout the patient’s journey. The aim is to provide advanced dental care while keeping the referring dentist informed.
This builds on our previous recognition in the Private Dentistry Awards, where Larkham House was Highly Commended in the Referral Practice category in 2024.
Patient care is central to everything we do.
The team are delighted to be finalists for Patient Care – South West & Wales.
At Larkham House we understand that visiting the dentist can feel daunting for some people. Our team works hard to create a calm and welcoming environment.
We listen to our patients. We take time to explain treatment options and we aim to make every visit as comfortable as possible.
Our patients regularly tell us how much they value the friendly and supportive approach of our team.
Our final nomination is for Practice Brand and Design of the Year – South West & Wales.
Our brand is an important part of how we communicate with patients. From our website and signage to our printed materials and digital content, we want everything to feel consistent and professional.
For us, good design is not simply about appearance. It should make information easier to understand and help patients feel confident when choosing their dental practice.
To be recognised across six different categories is a wonderful reflection of the work that takes place at Larkham House every day.
Our nominations cover clinical leadership, patient care, teamwork, advanced referral dentistry and our overall practice identity.
We are proud of every member of our team who contributes to the patient experience.
Larkham House provides advanced dentistry and referral services in Plymouth and the surrounding area.
Our referral service supports dental professionals who need additional expertise or treatment for more complex cases. We also welcome patients seeking advanced dental treatment.
Our clinicians use modern technology, including CBCT imaging, to support diagnosis and treatment planning. We provide a range of advanced treatments in-house, including dental implants and bone and sinus augmentation.

Being named a finalist gives us another opportunity to reflect on how far Larkham House has come.
