Although most tooth extractions are completed without any complications, there may be rare occasions where problems arise during an extraction.
Dr Vivek Giddani is able to offer minor surgical extractions for failed and complex tooth extractions cases in the comfort of Larkham House Dental Practice.
Although most tooth extractions are straightforward, complications can occasionally occur.
A tooth may fracture, and sometimes it cannot be fully removed. In other cases, the procedure may be too complex for a general dentist.
If this happens, you will usually be referred to a local hospital for a minor surgical extraction.
While hospital waiting times can be several weeks, we aim to see patients within 7 days.
We are now offering an Advanced Dentistry Referral Service from dental colleagues or from patients themselves for a failed or complex tooth extraction.
At Larkham House Dental Practice we have the latest CBCT imaging scanner to enable advanced diagnosis for complex procedures and patient care. We aim to see patients within 7 days of receiving the referral.
